Now Bordeaux was something special, a large and busy city with a fantastic culture and beautiful buildings. It’s sad to leave something behind that we have barley touched the surface of, however, the inevitable drive north is looming and we need to get a few miles under our belt. We stay at a small municipal campsite of which is run by the local leisure centre. It’s out of season and the facilities are shut. 5 euros if you want electricity but free to park (out of season). If you want to use the showers at the) leisure centre, you pay there. We visited the small town of Amboise many years back but didn’t have time to look around, it remained on our bucket list and this time we are going to spend a few days here to truly explore the area. Roll the cameras!! #Amboise #Francevanlife #campervan

  1. Hahaha …… brilliant ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ Claire , you are funny and have an infectious laugh !! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Tony , Claire was made for you , your a lucky guy ! What a couple , your inuendo and jokes bounce of both of you ๐Ÿคฃ . Great viewing again folks and I for one wholly appreciate the work you put in when you both work full time. It really is appreciated ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿค˜ . Please tell me how I can help with keeping Freddie on the road ( servicing etc ) as you no longer have go fund me . I won’t take no for an answer !! My favourite channel ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿป

    1. Steven, wow, so incredibly kind. We both love doing what we do and are very lucky to be able to. Just having you here is enough payment for us, thank you so much. We have considered the website for selling our photography prints and the odd sticker, but to be honest, this would just add to the workload lol. However, we are considering other options to free up our time and spend more time doing things that we love to do like photography and travelling (in the van of course). Things will change our friend and we hope you stick around for the ride. One day we’ll meet and a few drinks will be had. Cheers buddy and sincere best wishes. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿฅƒ๐Ÿฅƒ

  2. At this rate , what with the talk of Claire’s knockers the other week and now the shooting of a boudoir scene . You two are running close to getting demonetised by YouTube surely ? It’s turning into quite the racy show of late . Well at least we know you don’t play Ludo all the time in the van . Especially when Claire demands “Action !”
    PMSL .
Great fun guys . Thanks .
All the hard work done on filming , editing and background research done on the locations you visit , are certainly not unnoticed or unappreciated in these quarters .

    Fattrucker

    1. Haha, lmao. Yep, it’s a price we’re willing to pay lol, demonetisation for a spot of racy action is worth it, especially as we don’t make much; time for a change of video direction lol.
Many thanks for your kind words of support, we truly appreciate it. All the very best and take care. Tony (and Claire)

  3. Despite visiting the Loire Valley previously, we unfortunately didnโ€™t get to Amboise, after seeing your excellent video, we must take a visit when we visit France again in the near future. Iโ€™ll have to stop watching your vlogs as the bucket list of visits is getting longer ๐Ÿ˜‚, we have already been to Powys Castle after your trip there!. Keep them coming I donโ€™t mind adding to the list of adventures knowing that your experiences provide excellent information prior to planning a visit. Thanks for sharing your adventures, looking forward to further vlogs during this year. Take care and best regards.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿš

    1. Our thanks is with you as always for your support of our channel and its our privilege to bring you a little bit of France and the other places we’ve visited. If our channel helps and encourages others to get out on the road, we couldn’t ask for more. Yes, definitely put Amboise on your adventure list, it’s very much a stunning town. The campsite is really well situated and clean. We hope you enjoyed Powys, it’s a beautiful place. Many thanks again and maybe we’ll see you on the road sometime. 6. Hi yeah that was me that mentioned the time it takes to edit a 2min video. I was a photographer for a magazine for a few years and I also done interviews on video and had to edit them it’s a very time consuming process and I love your videos. Your both natural and easy to watch I love the way you use the maps to show your location and the way you explain the prices of the site’s your using. Anyway I’ll not waffle on tnx again. Ps if you ever plan a trip to Ireland let me know and I’m sure we could meet up. Take care .

    1. So it was indeed Ken, thanks for letting us know. Shame that I couldn’t remember at the time. It sounds like you have a lot of experience in the media industry, wow, very interesting buddy.
